We were pleased to be able to assist the Fulton Hogan teams in New Zealand and Fiji, with a major bridge replacement project on the Northern Island of Vanua Levu.
The project involved the replacement of four critically deteriorated bridges – the Korovuli, Nakasava, Korovula and Vesidrua bridges, along the Nabouwalu to Labasa Highway
We were able to supply the 310 x 158 Universal Columns, which were used as the bridge piling.
To meet the cost and delivery targets we worked closely with the Fulton Hogan team to see the steel shipped directly into Fiji from the mill, and assisted with the various importation requirements.
