Jakob Tveden founded JP Masonry in 2011, after arriving in NZ from Denmark.  Jakob brings with him Danish craftmanship, which was acquired during his brick-laying apprenticeship at the Aalborg technical college in the Northern region of Denmark.

Aalborg is a city known for its architecture, both the modern building on the Limfjord and the half-timbered mansions built by its prosperous merchants. It was originally settled as a trading post because of its position on the Limfjord, and was a city that Viking ships once sailed past.

J P Masonry are Licenced Building Practitioners in Brick & Block Laying and External Plastering.  They also have alliances with many of the other trades, such as carpenters and painters.  These alliances, coupled with their recognised project management expertise, allows JP Masonry to reliably complete most residential or commercial projects.  See JP Masonry’s website for further details of their capabilities and testimonials on their work.

United Steel is proud to support JP Masonry in their endeavours by supplying them with NZ Made reinforcing bar, reinforcing mesh and cut & bent reinforcing bar.  The ACRS certified bar & mesh wire is made in Auckland by Pacific Steel.  The mesh is manufactured by United Steel in its mesh plants in Auckland & Christchurch and tested in its  IANZ accredited labs.
