United Steel Welcomes Dean Armiger
New Christchurch Branch Manager

This week, United Steel welcomed Dean Armiger as the new Christchurch Branch Manager.
Dean comes to us with many years of experience working in
senior operations & sales roles in the manufacturing and sheet-metal
industries.
At the start of his career, Dean spent five years at Pacific
Steel in Auckland, so he has a strong background in steel and knowledge of
metallurgy. Dean then worked for over a
decade at Carlton Taylor industries, before moving on to take up an operations
management role at Form Innovations. Form Innovations specialise in
manufacturing sheet-metal product, and are a division of PDC who manufacture
lighting, charging & switchboard products. More recently Dean was manufacturing manager at RX Plastics.
Dean is looking forward to leading the South Island team
into the future. On the horizon is a new purpose-built facility to manufacture,
warehouse and distribute United Steels products. Once he has settled in and
better understands the business capabilities and capacities, he is planning to
get out & meet customers to gather feedback on how we can improve the United
Steel customer experience.
